Succeeding and failing at the same time

OK first the failure!!!!  I have failed to write this blog on a regular basis!  Yep it's happened!  And why?  Well it's because I've been succeeding a little more than usual in other areas of this crazy old place we call life.

Etsy sales have definitely increased this year which is the best news for me!  Recognition for what I put my blood, sweat and tears into (not speaking literally there).

In the first 6 weeks of 2014 I have already made half of what I made last year on Etsy!  My sales for February are already above my sales for January!  And watch....now I've probably jinxed myself and I'll sell nothing in March!!!  Ride high when you can, that's what I say!

I have had a few offers to sell my products at wholesale which I am currently looking into!  Not entirely sure I will go down that road but it's something I'm seriously thinking about!  But of course the price has to be right....not running a sweat shop here!

So that's what I've been up to....trying to keep up with sales, trying to create a more organized work space (it constantly needs tweaking...one day I'll post pics of where I work), attempting to create more inventory for my upcoming Craft Fairs, and researching and promoting!  Oh yeah and of course my 'real' job and maintaining a home!  All in a days work for SUPERNANNY!

Snow Day

New Jersey has been hit with quite a bit of snow recently.  A lot of people....actually most people have had enough, complaining about the weather and not enjoying the snow!  Not me!  I love it!

Miss I and myself had quite a good time yesterday admiring how it clings to the trees, building a snow person, making snow angels, having a snowball fight, sledding and even having a good laugh cleaning off the cars!!!

I have to admit, I had no desire to go out in it yesterday but once I was out there we had a lot of fun!

I encourage you to make the most of your children and the snow, they grow up so fast and before you know it one year they'll be too cool for all those fun things in the snow (and you may have to take up snowboarding  :o)
