Hi all
Just a quickie.....
Anyone got any children interested in LEGO'S? I know, I know silly question!
There's an amazing exhibit going on in NYC at Discovery Times Square, 'The Art of the Brick'. A fantastic display all with LEGO'S by famed artist NATHAN SAWAYA. Nathan amazingly recreates famous masterpieces such as the 'Mona Lisa' and 'The Girl With A Pearl Earring'

Photo's from the Craft Fair
Hi everyone.....this morning all I am capable of is downloading photo's from my craft fair in Millburn NJ yesterday.....I am exhausted from the intense work schedule of the last 2 weeks.
It turned out to be a beautiful day, it was sunny, and only a bit breezy....I got SO LUCKY! My first outdoor craft fair and NOTHING went wrong.....few! I had 2 fantastic helpers Rachel and Angela THANK YOU couldn't have done it without you and some equally fantastic friends that came out to support me too.
I realize that I cannot do set up and take down without help....it would just be impossible. I also have to figure out short cuts to putting items out or have a map of my table layout before the day.
Anyway here are the pics...which would definitely have looked better if you couldn't see anything in the background but it was a warm sunny day and the white side walls of the tent that would have made the pictures look ten times better, weren't really needed....but you should be able to get the picture.

OK I'm off to make a cup of coffee and watch 'Last Tango in Halifax'

Sneek Peek at my Craft Fair Goodies
Well I have been working very hard lately trying to pull together lots of goodies for my up coming craft fair in Millburn/Short Hills on September 22nd. This is a pretty big fair in a town with lots of families so I'm hoping that I will do well here....but this is my first time in this neck of the woods so there's no telling....I think weather will have a huge impact too....10 day forecast says sunshine next Sunday which means by the time we get there it's probably changed to thunder, lightening, hail and snow......must think positive thoughts.
I found this fella on my doorstep on Wednesday night and he hung out all night until Thursday morning when I snapped this pic......it means slow down and appreciate life (basically) but I'm afraid that will have to wait til September 23rd.
So here's what I've been up to....
Alright, that's all you're getting.....back to the sewing machine I go.
Have a great weekend.

So here's what I've been up to....
Halloween Placemats |
Thanksgiving Placemat, bib and colour your own place cards |
The children will have fun colouring the turkey in and writing the names on the guests of these place cards |
Hands up if you know that the first day of Hanukkah is also Thanksgiving? I created this double sided place mat, Thanksgiving on one side and Hanukkah on the other. |
Various other placemats. |
Make your own 'Happy Halloween' Banner |
Halloween Paper Chain kits |
Something for the tweens. Hang the twine and clip your notes, artwork to it with these Washi tape covered pegs/pins. |
6 Thank You cards with glittery birds on them all in different colours |
6 Glittery Bird Gift Tags with matching ribbons |
Muslin bag with fabric bird and bunting...I'm hoping to add a wooden tag to this with coordinating fabric |
Smaller size Muslin Bags.....must do some boyish themes too |
Stack 'o' bibs to be finished....it doesn't look like it but there are 51 bibs there |
Hang tags and bakers twine for bibs. These are business cards that I word into hang tags I think it's the cheapest way |
Oooh la la Paris bib |
'ello 'ello guvner British bib |
Halloween bib |
Gobble gobble Thanksgiving bib |
Alright, that's all you're getting.....back to the sewing machine I go.
Have a great weekend.

Bad Bad Blogger
I know....I'm a bad blogger! I have slipped! I swore it wouldn't happen and it did. I am not writing as many posts as I vowed I would. Running a small business, a house and having a part time job is a real handful I have to say!
Last week I was focused on design, packaging and getting items ready for the shop I was supplying.....this week I've been trying to get a handle on blankets.
I turned this....
into these.... 15 blankets in all.
Sales are doing pretty well on Etsy since I started shipping internationally. It's quite exciting really....I've shipped to Australia a couple of times, Canada, the U.K (not far from where I grew up) and today I got an order from someone who lives in a Kibbutz in Israel!!!! Fascinating!
Hopefully I'll be able to post more often next week. Fingers crossed.
Have a great weekend everyone....I have a pool tournament tomorrow, then a 50th Wedding Anniversary and if the weather holds on Sunday we might finally manage to finish staining the deck!!!! See my weekends are no quieter than my week days LOL
